$2 mat rental. You may store your own mat at the studio during the retreat.

Please consider Dana for your teacher, Kim. Dana is the practice of cultivating generosity and letting go. The tradition of Dana in Buddhism is an acknowledgement of our interconnectedness and interdependence. Suggested donation $5 - $10 per day.

How is Just This Breath an "Urban Yoga Retreat"? Would you like to deepen your yoga practice and take some time for yourself? As a community will create our own oasis right here in NYC. You don't need to "escape" to find peace and relaxation. Your sense of well being is in you always. Set aside the time to reconnect with your amazing, relaxed, sexy, self right here in NYC in the peak of the fall season. 

We will practice Shamatha meditation (peaceful abiding) stabilizing mind and relaxing your body. During retreat week Kim recommends preparing your schedule to optimize health benefits from this retreat by getting a good night's sleep, eat well, and do not drink alcohol.

Shamatha or mindfulness meditation practice calms and stabilizes the mind. Following and watching the breath, we practice being and coming back to the present moment. This practice helps focus the mind and relaxes the body. Our minds are naturally open and clear; relaxation arises when we are present and clear. 

No refunds. You will be charged a 50% cancelation fee and receive studio credit for the remainder.
