How is Just This Breath an "Urban Yoga Retreat"? Would you like to deepen your yoga practice and take some time for yourself? As a community will create our own oasis right here in NYC. You don't need to "escape" to find peace and relaxation. Your sense of well being is in you always. Set aside the time to reconnect with your amazing, relaxed, sexy, self right here in NYC in the peak of the fall season.

We will practice Shamatha meditation (peaceful abiding) stabilizing mind and relaxing your body. During retreat week Kim recommends preparing your schedule to optimize health benefits from this retreat by getting a good night's sleep, eat well, and do not drink alcohol.

Shamatha or mindfulness meditation practice calms and stabilizes the mind. Following and watching the breath, we practice being and coming back to the present moment. This practice helps focus the mind and relaxes the body. Our minds are naturally open and clear; relaxation arises when we are present and clear.

No refunds. You will be charged a 50% cancelation fee and receive studio credit for the remainder.

Full participation is suggested. Many thanks. Kim

Testimonials:

... "there's the physical aspect where I feel more grounded, stronger and connected to the earth. But, more than that, emotionally, I feel more open and raw and honest. When we spoke to one another this week, I felt that everyone cared about what I had to say and truly listened when each other spoke ...This retreat gave me the strength and courage to speak my truth." S

"The retreat provided everything I had hoped and more. I felt such a strong sense of community within the group and everyone was so supportive of one another. The bond we felt at the end of the week is truly a testament to Kim's dedication to the practice and the practitioners." K
